Schleich 82824 Gmünder Stadtwache

The 850-year anniversary theme makes this a great conversation piece, and the tiny details on the helmet and shield really pop when you look up close. It fits perfectly on the shelf with my other historical figures, and the weight feels solid in hand.

The paint job on the historical uniform is remarkably detailed, especially the tiny buttons and the guard's stern expression. It's a thoughtful tribute to Schwäbisch Gmünd's anniversary and looks great on my shelf.

The special-edition badge on the base really makes it stand out from my other figures—it’s a nice nod to the 850-year milestone. The paintwork on the tunic is crisp, and it sits solidly on a shelf without wobbling.
