Schleich 13727 Erpel, schwimmend

The duck sits perfectly in the water with its little feet tucked underneath, and the detail on the feathers is surprisingly crisp for such a small figure. My kid immediately put it in the bathtub to test the "swimming" pose.

The floating pose is perfect for the bath — my kid loves that it actually stays upright and drifts around like a real duck. The fact that only female ducks quack was a fun little fact to read while playing.

The little drake bobs on the water just like a real one, and the paint job on his green head is surprisingly crisp. My toddler loves pointing out that only the females quack, which makes for a fun bath-time fact. It's a simple figure, but the floating action makes it a solid pick for the tub.
