Schleich 22307 Tennis Snoopy is a discontinued older-version collectible; 21001 Normalschlumpf comes sealed in a blister pack. Here is how to choose between the two comic figures.
Quick answer
Choose Schleich 22307 Tennis Snoopy if you want a discontinued older-version figure for display or play. Choose Schleich 21001 Normalschlumpf if you prefer a sealed blister-pack figure from a special series that stays protected on a shelf.
Availability and packaging decide most of the choice
The two figures differ less in character appeal than in how you can get and keep them. Tennis Snoopy is an older version no longer sold through regular retail channels, so the copy you find is what remains. The Normalschlumpf is a special-series release in blister packaging, which keeps the figure protected and ready to display without opening it.
That packaging difference matters if you plan to resell or keep a figure untouched. A sealed blister preserves the original presentation, while a loose older figure is easier to handle and pose immediately.
Where each figure fits a collection
Tennis Snoopy suits a Snoopy or sports-themed shelf because the tennis pose gives it a clear scene. The Normalschlumpf suits a Smurf or classic comic display where the blue character design is the focus. Neither figure is supplied with scale or size data here, so check the listing images against your existing shelf before ordering.
Trade-offs to weigh before you buy
- Discontinued versus sealed: Tennis Snoopy is an older version no longer sold through regular retail, so availability is limited. The Normalschlumpf is a special-series figure in blister packaging, so it is easier to find in original packaging. If sealed packaging is essential, lean toward the Normalschlumpf.
- Display versus play: Both figures are suitable for display or play, but the blister pack on the Normalschlumpf is best left sealed for shelf display. Tennis Snoopy can be handled and posed immediately. Decide whether you want to open the figure before choosing.
- Condition check: Because Tennis Snoopy is discontinued, inspect photos for wear or missing parts. For the Normalschlumpf, check that the blister is intact and not crushed. Ask for extra photos if the listing images are unclear.
