Schleich 14585 Velociraptor

The paint work on this little carnivore is genuinely impressive for the price, and the articulated jaw stays put when you pose it. It's a nice size for small hands, and it looks great next to the bigger dino figures in the collection.

My son is obsessed with dinosaurs and this one hasn't left his hand since it arrived—the attention to detail on the claws and the tiny stature compared to our other figures makes it feel like a real museum piece. It's sturdy enough for rough play, which is all we ask for.

The articulation on this little guy's legs lets me pose him mid-stride, and the paintwork on his feathers is surprisingly detailed for the size. My kids have already staged three dino battles with him.
