Schleich 14840 Schnabeltier

My kids are obsessed with Aussie animals, and this one is a great addition to their collection. The sculpting is really detailed, especially the webbed feet and that unmistakable bill, and it stands sturdy for play.

The little platypus fits perfectly with my other animal figures, and I love that it's based on a real egg-laying mammal from Australia. The detail on the webbed feet and bill is nicely done for such a small figure.

The sculpting on this little platypus is remarkably detailed, especially the webbed feet and the bill texture. It's nice to have a figure of one of the few egg-laying mammals, and it stands solidly on the shelf.
