Schleich 14392 Zebra Stute

My daughter spotted this at a local collectibles shop and I’m so glad we grabbed it—the way the mane and muzzle are sculpted feels like a tiny museum piece. The matte finish on the coat makes the black-and-white stripes look almost soft to the touch.

The stripes are painted with such clean edges that my daughter keeps trying to pet the mane, and the mare’s calm pose fits perfectly next to her other animal figures. Even though it’s a retired piece, I’m glad we grabbed it while we could.

The sculpting on this zebra mare is so detailed, you can see each individual stripe clearly. I’m really impressed with the lifelike posture, and it’s a great addition to our animal collection.
