Schleich 13714 Tennessee Walker Jährling

The sculpted proportions are spot-on for a yearling—that gangly, not-quite-balanced look is exactly right. My daughter’s been studying it for her horse project and keeps pointing out details I’d missed.

The little horse's mane and tail have such fine, realistic texture that it looks almost alive. I'm impressed by the careful sculpting of the young horse's legs and body. It's a lovely addition to any collection.

My niece collects horse figurines and this yearling is the prettiest one she's gotten yet—those graceful proportions really stand out when you see them side by side with the adult models. The coat has a nice matte finish that feels closer to the real thing than the glossy ones she owns.
