Schleich 14825 Löwin

The lioness figure captures that intense, focused look of a huntress perfectly. My son immediately started staging savanna scenes with it, and the detailed mane texture on the male lion from the same set really complements this one. He can now explain exactly why the females do the hunting.

My daughter was fascinated to learn that the lionesses do all the hunting from the description card. The pose is mid-stride, capturing that stealthy, powerful movement perfectly. It's a great addition to her growing savanna collection.

The paint job is incredibly detailed, especially around the face and mane, and the lioness stands sturdy on her own. I got her for a diorama about hunting behavior, and the educational angle is a nice bonus.
