Schleich 13826 Henne

The little hen has such a lovely painted comb and wattle—my daughter immediately noticed the fine feather details. She's been placing it in the barn playset, and the solid, chunky plastic stands up well to daily handling.

My kids were so excited to see that each egg this hen lays in their pretend coop is a different size, just like the description says. The detailed feather texture makes it look almost real in their hands.

The hen's size is perfect for little hands to play with, and the paint job is surprisingly detailed for a toy this small. My daughter has been fascinated learning that real hens lay so many eggs each year after reading the card that came with it.
